Situational task 2

The patient consulted a doctor with complaints of an ulcer in the right nasal vestibule. She attributes this to an injury she sustained while removing nasal crusts about two weeks ago. Initially, she experienced pain in the nasal vestibule, but over the past week, she has not experienced any pain, although her submandibular lymph nodes have enlarged. On examination, there is a 0.7 cm diameter ulcer in the right nasal vestibule with smooth edges, a firm base with a shiny red surface, and no pain when touched with a probe. The submandibular lymph nodes are palpable, up to 2 cm in diameter, painless, not fused with the skin or with each other, and the skin over them is not altered.
