Clinical situation:

Patient K., 45 years old, came with complaints of constant pulsating noise in the left ear, coinciding with the rhythm of the heart, and a gradual decrease in hearing on the same ear over the course of a year. Recently, she has been experiencing occasional dizziness.

During otoscopy, the left eardrum is intact, but a purplish-red formation can be seen through it in the lower regions. When using a Siegle funnel (a pneumatic test), the pulsation of the formation increases.

Audiogram: conductive hearing loss on the left (bone-air gap of 30 dB).
